8.5 Viewing Configuration Information About Devices
Use the SCF INFO command to display configuration information
about the devices attached to a 6760 adapter.
8.5.1 INFO TAPE Detailed Report Information
The following describes the fields displayed in an INFO TAPE,
DETAIL report, such as the one shown in Figure 8-2.
Adapter Name shows the name of the adapter to which the
tape drive is attached.
Adapter Location (Group, Module, Slot)
Backup FRU shows the processor number of the backup
tape process. Currently, this process must
reside in the group where the adapter is
installed.
Compression for the cartridge tape drives, shows whether
compression is configured (ON) or not
(OFF). This setting is ignored by the 5194
tape drive, because compression is always
on. For other tape drives, this field is not
applicable (NA).
Density shows the configured tape density in bits per
inch (bpi) of a 5170 tape drive. This value
applies only to 5170 tape drives. This
attribute is ignored by all other tape drives.
Device ID shows the Device ID that is configured for
the device. This ID must match the SCSI ID
that is physically set in the device.
