5. Are the 9710ACS Tape Cartridge Silo Subsystem’s drive(s) terminated
properly with a SCSI terminator(s)?
A) MFC (K-Series) Attachment - terminator must be installed
on the 50 Pin “Centronics” Connector.
B) 3216(K-Series) Attachments - terminator must be installed
on the 68 Pin “Fast SCSI” Connector.
C) PMF and ServerNet/DA (EPIC) for the S-Series
Attachment – terminator must be installed on the 50 Pin
“Centronics” Connector.
D) ServerNet/DA (F-SAC) Attachment – terminator must be
installed on the 68 Pin “Fast SCSI” Connector.
E) If two drives are daisy chained, is the short SCSI daisy chain
cable installed between the drives?
C) S-Series-Last SCSI device should be terminated.
6. Is the SCSI cable connected to the Compaq System correctly?
A) Copper cable connected to MFC (T16/5165) BIC
connector labeled J5?
B) Fiber cable connected to 3216 BIC?
C) S-Series- The Copper SCSI cable should be connected to
the PMF SCSI connector or the ServerNet DA S-SAC.
D) S-Series – The Fiber Cable should be connected to the
ServerNet DA F-SAC.
