6. S-Series, check tape drive FRU with SCF, verify STATUS and INFO
of tape drive FRU.
7. If the 9710 ACS Tape Cartridge Silo Subsystem has incorrect SCF
information, the tables following have symptoms and corrective actions.
Green LED Not Lit on a Logic Board
Symptom Corrective Action
1. Green LED not lit
on any logic boards.
• Start the system.
2. Green LED not lit
on one logic board.
• Reseat the logic board:
1. Unscrew the thumbscrews on the
ejectors and then lift both ejectors at
same time to disconnect the logic
board from the backplane.
2. Pull the logic board 2 inches out of its
slot.
3. Push the logic board into its slot until
the front of the logic board is flush
with the other logic boards.
4. Press both ejectors into place at the
same time and then tighten the
thumbscrews.
If the green LED still does not light, replace
the logic board FRU.
