3.5 Guidelines
Be sure to follow the 9710 Automated Subsystem installation
guidelines detailed in the StorageTek “Installation Manual”. Figure
3-1 shows 9710 Automated Cartridge Subsystem access
requirements.
• To ensure reliable operation, place the 9710 Tape
Subsystem in an environment that is free of dust and
excessive humidity.
