Use the COUP DELETE command to remove the definition of the 
drive from the configuration file. When removing a drive from the 
system, remove its controller if there are no other devices attached 
to the controller. If deletion of the controller is tried while it still 
has a device connected to it, COUP issues an error message. 
This example removes the tape drive $TAPE1 and controller 
TAPEA: 
 12) STOP $TAPE1

6.5  Configuring the Subsystem by Modifying the CONFTEXT File 
To add a T16/5155/5159 DLTtape Drive FRU to the system 
configuration by running the Install program and creating a new 
system image, define the characteristics of the tape drives and 
controller for the system to which they are being attached. Change 
the system configuration by modifying the CONFTEXT file and 
running the Install program to build the operating system software. 
The CONFTEXT file contains nine paragraphs, each consisting of a 
series of statements that define the system configuration. The 
following paragraphs must be modified to prepare the system for 
attaching the T16/5155/5159 DLTtape Drive FRU:
