Truncation in Address Calculations
You cannot set TruncateIndexing_Off for:
•
Pascal programs without an Inspect symbols region
•
FORTRAN programs
The Accelerator automatically sets TruncateIndexing_On when you accelerate a
FORTRAN program.
For all other programs, only set TruncateIndexing_Off if you are willing to test them
exhaustively to make sure that they do not depend on 16-bit address truncation.
Accelerating with the TruncateIndexing_On option has a negligible effect of program
performance.
Super Option Settings
The Common and Safe options set TruncateIndexing_On, and the Fast option sets
TruncateIndexing_Off.
