EBCDIC or ASCII — AM and TR
EBCDIC or ASCII — AM and TR
The EBCDIC or ASCII modifier specifies the transmission code.
Alternate choice is ASCII. When specifying ASCII transmission, you must also specify
LRC8.
GP or SP — AM Only
The GP modifier specifies that a general poll is made to devices on the line. The SP
modifier specifies that a specific poll is made to devices on the line.
INITSTATUS — TR Only
This modifier specifies the full-word initial IBM status/sense bytes with which to
respond when the emulated device is selected but not opened, joined, or connected.
INITSTATUS varies the way that TR3271 handles an unsolicited host select. When an
initial status is to be sent, an RVI is sent in response to the select. When the host polls,
the status specified is sent.
The following values for INITSTATUS have specific meanings:
%0—Send a WACK to SELECTs and send an EOT to POLLs (default)
