NOREADMODAFTERPOLL or
READMODAFTERPOLL —TR Only
NOREADMODAFTERPOLL or READMODAFTERPOLL
—TR Only
The NOREADMODAFTERPOLL modifier specifies that TR3271 does not resend data
in response to a READ MODIFIED command sent by the host after TR3271 has sent
the data in response to a poll.
If NOREADMODAFTERPOLL is in effect, the READ MODIFIED command is rejected.
If you change this modifier to READMODAFTERPOLL, also change READCOMMAND
to NOREADCOMMAND .
NOTRANSPARENT or TRANSPARENT — AM and TR
The TRANSPARENT modifier specifies that the access method generates ASCII
control characters VRC and LRC. TRANSPARENT enables the subdevice (not the
line) level of transparency; NOTRANSPARENT disables it. Transparent mode allows
data-link characters to be exchanged among subdevices without inadvertently initiating
a control sequence.
This modifier applies only to ASCII lines, and not to EBCDIC lines.
This modifier should not be confused with byte-synchronous, transparent operation,
which is not supported by AM3270.
