Attribute Descriptions for AM3270
and TR3271
This section contains a description of each SCF attribute used for the AM3270 or
TR3271 subsystems. The attributes are listed in alphabetical order. Most of the
attributes in this section are common to both the AM3270 and TR3271 subsystems.
Only the attributes unique to one subsystem are noted.
ADDRESS
The ADDRESS attribute specifies the 3x7x controller number and the subdevice
(port) number for the subdevice being added or altered. The controller number and
subdevice number are integer values in the range 0 through 31. For the ADD
command, this attribute must be specified. For the ALTER command, this attribute
is optional.
AUTOLOAD
The AUTOLOAD attribute enables or disables the downloading of the microcode to
the Communications Line Interface Processor (CLIP) after the CLIP is reset
because of an unrecoverable error. The value can be On or Off.
