POLLTYPE
POLLTYPE 
The POLLTYPE attribute specifies the polling type. General means a poll of the 
controller itself is performed. Specific means a poll of subdevices associated with 
the controller is performed.
PROGRAM
The PROGRAM attribute specifies the name of the CLIP download program file. If 
the PROGRAM attribute has been modified, the next START command causes 
CLIP software to be downloaded.
PROTOCOL 
The PROTOCOL attribute specifies the protocol that will be used by the device 
being added or altered. This attribute must be specified.
CRT provides the basic mode of operation for 327x terminals and printers. The 
CRT protocol manages requests from an application process on the NonStop 
S-series server or Integrity NonStop NS-series server that uses standard 3270 
buffer orders and text to communicate with the IBM host as an emulated 327x 
terminal subdevice.
ITI provides an interactive interface between the HP host and 327x terminals.
PRT provides line-at-a-time output to 327x printers.
