RECSIZE
RECSIZE
The RECSIZE attribute specifies the record size, in bytes, that the subdevice can
support. However, for terminal subdevices and printer subdevices the RECSIZE
attribute is for reference only.
For a terminal subdevice, the record size is for reference only. The suggested
record size is the number of columns (40 or 80) for the ITI protocol and the defined
screen size for the CRT protocol.
For a printer subdevice, the record size is for reference only and is the printer line
length.
For a pass-through subdevice, the record size is used by either the AM3270 or
TR3271 communications access process to allocate the buffer. The suggested
record size is based on the defined screen size, as follows:
The RECSIZE attribute must be specified for the ADD command.
REPOLLINT
The REPOLLINT attribute specifies the time interval to wait before repolling the
station if the station times out on poll. The range of values is 0 through 4:15.
REPOLLINT can be specified only in minutes and seconds. The default value is 0.
This attribute is optional.
