RETRIES
RETRIES
The RETRIES attribute specifies the number of retransmissions that will be made
for data link errors until the data link is flagged as inoperative and all appropriate
sessions are terminated. The range of values is 1 through 15.
SYNCS
The SYNCS attribute specifies the number of SYN characters that will be
transmitted before each frame. The range of values is 2 through 15.
TESTINT
The TESTINT attribute specifies the time interval within which to issue the status
probe to the CLIP. The range of values is 0 through 5:27.67. A value of 0 means
that no status probe is issued by the AM3270 or TR3271 communications access
process (CAP).
THRESHOLD
The THRESHOLD attribute specifies the number of frames that will be transmitted
and received before line quality is checked. The range of values is 0 through
32767.
A value of 0 means that the threshold will be ignored.
Default: 3
Range: 1 through 15 for both AM3270 and TR3271.
