The Peripheral Utility Program (PUP), Dynamic System Configuration (DSC), and
ViewPoint Console application of Distributed Systems Management (DSM) are not
supported on G-series systems.
The OSM package is a client-server application that provides troubleshooting,
maintenance, and service tools for your system. OSM combines many of the system
maintenance functions provided by the Syshealth toolkit, the Tandem Maintenance and
Diagnostic Subsystem (TMDS), and the Remote Maintenance Interface (RMI) product.
OSM is described in the OSM User’s Guide (also see Table ii, NonStop S-Series and
Integrity NonStop NS-Series Manuals, on page -xiv for a list of references.
