Message Descriptions
Cause. The target object cannot be found. This usually happens on a CONNECT or
DISCONNECT command. It means that the specified TR3271 subdevice does not
exist.
Effect. Command could not be completed.
Recovery. Specify a PTP TR3271 SU that has been defined.
00004
Cause. One or more of the specified line attributes conflicts with a transparent SU.
This usually happens on an ALTER LINE command. In order to have a transparent SU,
the line must be configured as follows:
CHARACTERSET = EBCDIC
CONTROLSET = EBCDIC
TRANSLATE = ON
TRANSPARENT = ON
An attempt was made to change one of these attributes.
Effect. Command could not be completed.
Recovery. Do not change any of the attributes listed above.
00005
Cause. The operation failed because the SU protocol is not PTP. This usually
happens on a CONNECT or DISCONNECT command.
Effect. Operation failed.
Recovery. Specify a PTP AM3270 SU or a PTP TR3271 SU.
00006
Cause. The address specified in an ADD command has already been defined for
another subdevice.
Effect. Command could not be completed.
Recovery. Use another address.
00007
AM3270 00004 Conflicting attributes for a LINE.
AM3270 00005 Not a PTP SU.
AM3270 00006 Address already taken.
AM3270 00007 No object is in the selected state.
