Message Descriptions
In general, a data communications line can incur file-system errors of the types shown
in Table E-3.
Message Descriptions
The TR3271 error messages are listed by message number, from lowest to highest.
00002
Cause. The operation failed because of an internal CLIP problem. This usually
happens on an ADD SU command.
Effect. Operation failed.
Recovery. See EMS message 74, “PROCESS INTERNAL ERROR,” on the console
or in the EMS log. In that message, the error, the CLIP function modifier, and the CLIP
status are listed in the following format:

Save these octal numbers and contact your HP service provider.
00003
Cause. The target object cannot be found. This usually happens on a CONNECT or
DISCONNECT command. It means that the specified TR3271 subdevice does not
exist.
Effect. Command could not be completed.
Recovery. Specify a PTP TR3271 SU that has been defined.
