The objects supported by the AM3270 and TR3271 subsystems and the commands to
which they apply are listed in Table F-1.

Object Commands Description of Command Function
PROCESS PRIMARY Causes the backup CPU to become the primary CPU
and the primary CPU to become the backup CPU.
VERSION Displays the version level of the process.
LINE ABORT Terminates the operation of lines and subdevices as
quickly as possible—only enough processing is done to
ensure the security of the subsystem.
ALTER Changes the values of the attributes of an existing line.
BOOT Prepares a programmable controller for loading.
DELETE Removes subdevices from the subsystem.
INFO Displays the current attribute values for the specified
line.
LOAD Downloads the microcode into the CLIP.
NAMES Returns a list of the subordinate object types and
names for the specified line.
START Initiates the operation of a line.
STATS Displays statistical information for the specified line.
STATUS Displays status information about a line.
STOP Terminates the activity of a line in a normal manner.
SWITCH Causes a backup path to become the primary path and
vice versa.
TRACE Requests the capture of target-defined data items,
alters trace parameters, and ends tracing.
VERSION Displays the version level of the line.
SU ABORT Terminates the operation of subdevices as quickly as
possible.
ADD Defines a subdevice.
ALTER Changes the values of the attributes of an existing
subdevice.
CONNECT Connects an AM3270 pass-through subdevice to a
TR3271 pass-through subdevice.
DELETE Removes subdevices from the subsystem.
DISCONNECT Breaks the connection between an AM3270 pass-
through subdevice and a TR3271 pass-through
subdevice.
