Process
Dynamic Changes to the PROFILE
You can make dynamic changes to the AM3270 and TR3271 LINE objects and SU
objects through the AM3270 or TR3271 SCF subsystems.
The AM3270 and TR3271 subsystems support the LOAD LINE command, which
causes the data link control (DLC) task to be downloaded to the SWAN concentrator
WAN port on the CLIP that the specified LINE is configured to use.
The AM3270 and TR3271 subsystems support the SWITCH PROCESS command,
which causes the backup AM3270 or TR3271 line-handler processes to become the
primary AM3270 or TR3271 line-handler processes.
Table 3-2 compares the WAN subsystem objects to the AM3270 and TR3271
subsystem objects and commands.
