ERRORS (level-2 error statistics from the CLIP)
Errors
is the total number of errors that occurred at level 2 for the specified line.
NAKs
is the number of negative acknowledgments (NAKs) that were received by the
AM3270 subsystem on the specified line.
BCC Error
is the number of Block Check Character (BCC) errors that occurred at level 2
for the specified object. This is a combination of LRC and CRC errors received.
Format Error
is the number of format errors that occurred at level 2 for the specified line
(outbound). Format Error does not apply to 3650/6100 family controllers.
Retries
is the number of retries that were attempted by the AM3270 subsystem at level
2 for the specified line. This number does not include errors.
Short Buffer
No longer used.
No Buffers
is the number of times that the AM3270 subsystem could not allocate a buffer
for a request made by the specified line. A buffer failure occurs when the
AM3270 subsystem runs out of buffer space.
Timeouts
is the number of response timeouts.
Buffer Overrun
is the number of READ buffers overrun. This error occurs when the incoming
text is longer than the READ count.
Line Overruns
is the number of line overruns or underruns.
Modem
is the number of modem errors.
