Display for the STATUS LINE Command

The display for a LINE object without the DETAIL option is given below. The attributes

are listed alphabetically and described in Section 6, Attribute Descriptions for AM3270

and TR3271.

Name

is the name of the LINE object.

State

is the summary state of the LINE object. The possible states are STARTED or

STOPPED.

I/O ADDR(P)

is the primary I/O address for the LINE object. The four fields displayed are CPU

number, channel number, controller number (octal), and unit number (octal).

I/O ADDR(B)

is the backup I/O address for the LINE object. The four fields displayed are CPU

number, channel number, controller number (octal), and unit number (octal).

LDEV

is the logical device number of the LINE object.

PPID

is the primary Process Identification (PID) of the LINE object.

BPID

is the backup Process Identification (PID) of the LINE object.
