Subsystem Architecture

SUBSYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

The AM3270 subsystem consists of one process controlling one

line. However, the subsystem can be combined to provide a pass-

through function between AM3270 terminals and a host by means of

TR3271. Figure 1-1 illustrates the architecture of the AM3270

subsystem and the various interfaces to the subsystem.
