COMMON DEFINITIONS
AM3270 Predefined Token and Field Values
AM3270 Predefined Token and Field Values
The AM3270 subsystem defines the following token and field
values.
ZAM3-VAL-EVT-BUFLEN is the buffer size in bytes for event
messages issued by the AM3270 subsystem.
ZAM3-VAL-SSID is the subsystem ID for the AM3270 subsystem. Its
structure definition is given earlier in this section, under "SPI
Standard Definitions."
For more information about ZAM3-VAL-SSID, refer to the discussion
of the subsystem ID in the
Distributed Systems Management (DSM)
Programming Manual
.
ZAM3-VAL-VERSION is the version number of this version of the
AM3270 subsystem. This value is a 16-bit unsigned integer; the
left byte contains the letter part of the version as an ASCII
uppercase alphabetic character, and the right byte contains the
numeric part of the version as an unsigned integer value.
AM3270 Simple Tokens
The AM3270 subsystem only defines simple tokens that appear in
event messages. These tokens include internal tokens, which
appear in the ZAM3-EVT-INTL-ERR (74) event message. All the
simple tokens defined by the AM3270 subsystem are listed below in
the subsection, "Tokens in Event Messages."
AM3270 Extensible Structured Tokens
The following extensible structured tokens are defined by the
AM3270 subsystem. They are described with the commands and
responses in which they appear.
