Custom Attributes
Example
These Entity properties are defined for a Funds Transfer application (entity) that has
one custom attribute, the transaction rate. Note the changes in the Command, Detail,
Help, Version and DataItem Entity properties. Also, note the addition of the TransRate
and TransRateState Attribute definitions in Custom Attributes on page 2-6 to describe
the transaction rate metric.
Custom Attributes
To define a custom attribute to ASAP, you must define these properties:
1. Attribute name—to define the attribute
2. TypeData—all custom attributes are type REAL64
3. Format—to define how the attribute value is displayed
4. Grid—YES if you want to display attribute values in the Grid
5. Graph—YES if you want to graph the attribute
6. GraphMax—to set the maximum graph value
7. Help—to define help text
8. MetricRule—to define the formula to use when producing the metric value
9. StatePair—set to YES to evaluate the value against objective values
