SET AGGREGATESTATUS
When you use the ONLY option, it is useful to use the MEMORY and MINSTATE
options in the EDL Detail command for the entity. This lets a user right-mouse on an
aggregate-only domain from the ASAP Client and select Show Object Details to view
the individual detail domains that are causing the aggregate domain to alert. For
example:
DETAIL "APP ^,DE,ST,TAB,MEM,MIN,CO 20"
SET AGGREGATESTATUS
SET AGGREGATESTATUS instructs ASAP Extension to generate EMS events for
alerts on the STATUS attribute for aggregate domains. Normally ASAP Extension
generates EMS events only for STATUS attribute alerts on detail (non-aggregate)
domains.
Example
SET AGGREGATESTATUS ON
SET AGGREGATETEXT
SET AGGREGATETEXT causes ASAP to propagate the STATUS attribute text to the
aggregate domains from the detail domain with the highest alert level on the STATUS
attribute. Normally ASAP Extension places a count of the number of detail domains
into the STATUS text field in aggregate domains.
Example
SET AGGREGATETEXT ON
SET COLLECTOR
A SET COLLECTOR command in the ASAPXCNF file places all ASAPXMON
processes into Write-to-Collector mode. Use Write-to-Collector mode for large domain
populations, to improve performance and use fewer resources.
collector
specifies the name of an ASAP Collector process; for example, $ZOOS. The ASAP
Collector name is formed by adding S to the ASAP ID.
