ASAP Extension EMS Messages
The ASAP Extension (ASAPX) writes messages to EMS as tokenized event messages
and to the ASAP log. Because of text size restrictions in the ASAP log format, ASAPX
does not include all of the information for certain messages that it writes to that log.
For example, ASAPX never writes a domain name to the ASAP log because the length
of the domain name could be longer that the allowable length of a text message to the
log. When ASAPX writes a domain-related message to the ASAP log, it only includes
the domain number of the domain in the message. ASAPX treats certain long
filenames in a similar fashion.
