graph (upper) portion of the ASAP Client main window. It should also be shown in the grid
(lower) portion of the window.
This will take some time, and will be an iterative process, but as you gain experience with
ASAP Client, use the ASAP Properties sheet’s Attribute tab to tailor the attributes you want
to display for each ASAP entity. For example, for the CPU entity you might want to display
the MemSize attribute but not the Bup (Blades Up) attribute if you are not running an
Integrity or Blades version of a NonStop server.

The next setting you might want to adjust on the Properties sheet’s Attribute tab is the
Graphmax value. This is the value shown on the small block to the right of the “Show in
Graph” setting. For example, if you select the CPU entity’s Busy attribute the value in that
field will be 100. That is the y-axis setting for the 3D graph shown in the ASAP Client main
window. Since CPU BUSY is a percentage, 100 is the proper y-axis value for that attribute.
By definition all percent-based attributes will have a y-axis value of 100. However many
attributes are not based on percentages so the y-axis value might need to be changed
depending on the values you have on your system.
Figure 5 below shows the COMM Rate attribute where the y-axis (Graphmax) value is set to
20 and the value reported for the Rate attribute is 25, which results in a red spike in the
graph.
