Cause. The Expand SGP could not create a new subsystem manager process.

Effect. No network statistics can be collected.

Recovery. Check the Subsystem Programmatic Interface (SPI) manager at

$SYSTEM.SYSTEM.0ZEXP to be sure that the Expand Manager is secured properly.

Retry the request later. If the problem persists, contact your HP support representative

and provide all relevant information:

 Descriptions of the problem and accompanying symptoms

 Details from the messages generated

 System number

 Numbers and versions of all related products

 Supporting documentation such as Event Management Service (EMS) logs, trace

files, and a CPU dump, if applicable

Data Tokens.

ZEMS-TKN-TEXT contains the message text.

ZASP-TKN-ASAP-ERRORNUM is ―1210‖.

1211: ZASP-EVT-EXPDMGR-OPEN-ERROR

Subsystem Mgr Open Error: err

identifies a file-system error.

Cause. The Expand SGP could not open a subsystem manager. The FILEINFO

system procedure call returned this error.

Effect. ASAP and the subsystem cannot communicate.

Check that the operating system subsystem manager is present, up, and running. If
