ASAP ERR component server start retry limit exhausted

is the name of the relevant ASAP component.
server
is the name of the server process that cannot be restarted.
Cause. The SGP attempted to restart its failed server the maximum number of times.
Effect. ASAP quits trying to restart its server.
Recovery. Fix the server startup problem, and then restart ASAP.

is the functional location within the SGP where the error occurred.

is the SPI error encountered.
Cause. The procedure identified by function-location received an error on its
SPI interface.
Effect. ASAP cannot obtain information about a domain or it statistics.
Recovery. Correct the SPI error or report the problem to HP support.
