Recovery. Specify a valid disk volume using the ASAP command SET DISK.param

Invalid volume specified error

is the measure error number. 
Cause. An invalid disk volume was entered for the Measure date file. 
Effect. The ASAP Disk SGP will use the volume where theASAPDSK object resides. 
Recovery. Specify a valid disk volume using the ASAP command SET DISK,PARAM 
―Volume<$vol>.

ASAPDSK DCT access error ldev 
Cause. The Disk SGP could not access the device control table. ldev represents the 
logical number of the device. 
Effect. ASAPDSK cannot collect disk statistics. 
Recovery. Contact your HP representative. 
1743 
ASAPDSK cannot restart measurement.err 
Cause. ASAPDSK could not restart its measurement. err represents the Measure 
error returned from the Measure subsystem.  
Effect. ASAPDSK could not obtain disk counters during a sample interval. Disk 
statistics are set to null for the sample interval when ASAPDSK cannot get DP2 
counters. 
Recovery. Check the ASAP log for previous ASAPDSK messages and make the 
appropriate corrections. For corrective action for the specified error, see Appendix B of 
the Measure Reference Manual.

ASAPDSK Disk device inaccessible ldev, 
ctrl 
Cause. The Disk SGP could not access the device. ldev represents the logical 
number of the device. ctrl represents the controller number in decimal.
