ALTER SU Command
Considerations for the ALTER SU Command
•
The ALTER command can be used only when the subdevice is in the STOPPED
state.
•
An error is returned if the given modifier cannot be modified for the current
(TYPE,SUBTYPE) of the object.
•
The SPECIALCHAR modifier should be altered along with SPECIALMODE
modifier.
•
The INTENABLE modifier should be ON while altering INTCHAR modifier.
Example of the ALTER SU Command
The following command alters the AUTOANSWER and RECSIZE values of the
subdevice on the line $ATPS1:
