TRACE LINE Command
keywords
is subsystem-specific. See Table 6-4 for a list of the keywords that can be
used with ATP6100.
number
is the numeric value represented by a keyword.
TO file-spec
specifies that a new trace is to be started and names the file to receive the trace
information. An old file of that name is purged of data before the trace is initiated. If
file-spec does not exist, SCF creates the file with an extent size based on the value
of the PAGES parameter.
If TO file-spec is not specified, the existing trace is either stopped (if STOP is
specified) or modified as specified by trace-option.
WRAP
specifies that when the trace file end-of-file mark is reached, trace data wraps
around to the beginning of the file and overwrites any data there. If WRAP is not
specified, the trace is stopped when the end-of-file mark is reached. You cannot
change the specification of the WRAP option during an ongoing trace.
Some subsystems may automatically select this option. Refer to the SCF
Reference Manual for a specific subsystem for more information about TRACE
command options.
