About ATP6100 Errors
About ATP6100 Errors
Each error listed includes a description of the probable cause of the error condition, an
explanation of the effect of the error, and a recommended recovery action. Error
messages are listed in numerical order.
The user can receive error messages through SCF. The messages are generated by
the file system, Subsystem Control Point (SCP), and so on. File-system, SCP, and
other errors originating outside the SCF environment are described in the
documentation supporting the particular source of the error and are not listed in this
manual. For information about trace-related errors, see the PTrace Reference Manual.
Some ATP6100 error messages are not easily recoverable and require you to seek
additional help. In these cases, you should follow the standard procedures at your site
for contacting the appropriate support personnel. These procedures might involve
contacting support representative.
Before contacting your support representative, it is recommended that you collect any
relevant information (including the details from the error message), supporting
documentation (such as Event Management Service [EMS] logs), and a description of
the problem and the accompanying symptoms, so that you can provide the data to
support personnel. If your local operating procedures require contacting the TNSC,
please supply your system name and the numbers on versions of all related products
as well.
