Log On to the NonStop Server and Obtain
SWAN/SWAN 2 Information
c. Record the available WAN line number in the line-num field in Example 1-1,
Adding an ATP6100 Device. (For example: 1.)
d. Record the configured path that you prefer to use in the path-name field in
Example 1-1, Adding an ATP6100 Device. (For example: A.) You can only use
paths that have been configured. The path name is optional.
4. Find the processors in which the SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrator is configured by
issuing the INFO ADAPTER command, which lists the name of the two TCP/IP
processes in which the SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrator is configured.
info adapter $zzwan.#S01
WAN Manager Detailed Info Adapter \TEST.$ZZWAN.#S01
*TrackId........... XR4T7D *TCPIP Name....... $ZTC11
*ALTTCPIP Name..... $ZTC32 Concentrator Type. SYNC
KERNELCODE......... $SYSTEM.CSS00.C7953P00
*SNMPCODE.......... $SYSTEM.CSS00.C7849P00
*HOSTIP Address.... 172.016.035.117
*ALTHOSTIP Address. 172.016.045.119
SUBNETMASK......... %HFFFFFF00
ALTSUBNETMASK...... %HFFFFFF00
5. Find the processor in which these TCP/IP processes are running, by issuing the
STATUS PROCESS command along with the TCP/IP processes in which the
SWAN concentrator is configured.
status process $ztc11
TCPIP Status process \TEST.$ZTC11
Status: Started
PPID............. ( 0,319) BPID................ ( 1,292)
Proto Status Laddr Lport Faddr Fport SendQ RecvQ
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 ftp 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 finger 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 echo 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
status process $ztc32
TCPIP Status process \TEST.$ZTC32
Status: Started
PPID............. ( 1,303) BPID................ ( 0,328)
Proto Status Laddr Lport Faddr Fport SendQ RecvQ
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 ftp 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 finger 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
TCP LISTEN 0.0.0.0 echo 0.0.0.0 * 0 0
6. Record the PPID for the TCPIP Name and ALTTCPIP Name (noted above in the
STATUS PROCESS display) in the cpu and altcpu fields in Example 1-1, Adding
an ATP6100 Device, on page 1-4.
