Add an ATP6100 Profile
Add an ATP6100 Profile
A profile defines different modifiers, default values, and ranges of values for the
ATP6100 subsystem. The ATP6100 subsystem supports the following profiles:
These type 832 files are located in the sysnn subvolume and are part of the ATP6100
product. They contain all the modifiers for ATP6100 devices and provide the function of
SYSGEN (or profile) macros for the Integrity NonStop NS-series server or
NonStop S-series server.
If you have already added an ATP6100 profile for the type of device being configured,
you can skip this step.
1. Issue the following SCF command to see what profiles have been added:
->names profile $zzwan.*
The output of the NAMES command lists the profiles that have been added. If the
appropriate ATP6100 profile does not exist then it must be added.
2. Add the appropriate ATP6100 profile (For example: PATP6530) using the following
SCF command:
->add profile $zzwan.#profter, file $system.sysnn.patp6530
Example 1-1. Adding an ATP6100 Device
-> add device $zzwan.#atpp1, profile profter, &
-> cpu ___________, & (See Step 6)
-> altcpu ___________, & (See Step 6)
-> iopobject $system.sysnn.oatpcss, &
-> type (53,0), &
-> recsize 80, &
-> adapter ____________, & (See Step 3a)
-> clip _____________, & (See Step 3b)
-> line _____________, & (See Step 3c)
-> path _____________, & (See Step 3d)
PATP5512 PATP5515 PATP5516 PATP5520 PATP5530
PATP5540 PATP5573 PATP5577 PATPPRT PATP6401
PATP6402 PATP6511 PATP6512 PATP6520 PATP6524
PATP6530 PATP6603 PATP6604 PATPTERM
Note. Use only the profile which supports the device you are installing.
