Online Expansion and Reconfiguration
Online Expansion and Reconfiguration
Reconfiguration of the ATP6100 subsystem is made online using the Subsystem
Control Facility (SCF) interface to the ATP6100 and wide area network (WAN)
subsystems. Table 2-1, Online Reconfiguration Tasks, on page 2-3 compares tasks
that you may use frequently and indicates whether they are performed by SCF or the
WAN subsystem. Changes made using SCF are temporary and exist until a system
load or a subsequent SCF change to the line. Changes made through the WAN
subsystem are persistent and are stored in the Management Information Base (MIB).

communications processes, refer to the WAN Subsystem Configuration and
Management Manual.
