Starting the ATP6100 Line
type and sub-type
is the type and subtype for the specified device.
download-file-name
is the file that is downloaded to the SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrator.
Example
The following is an example of adding an ATP6100 device on CLIP 1, LINE 1 of a
SWAN concentrator to the WAN subsystem:
ADD DEVICE $ZZWAN.#ATPP1, CPU 0, ALTCPU 1, PROFILE PROFTER, &
IOPOBJECT $SYSTEM.SYS00.OATPCSS, TYPE (53,0), RECSIZE 80, &
ADAPTER SWAN28, CLIP 1, LINE 1
The following is an example of adding an ATP6100 device on CLIP 1, LINE 1 of a
SWAN 2 concentrator to the WAN subsystem:
ADD DEVICE $ZZWAN.#ATPP1, CPU 0, ALTCPU 1, PROFILE PROFTER, &
IOPOBJECT $SYSTEM.SYS00.OATPCSS, TYPE (53,0), RECSIZE 80, &
ADAPTER SWAN28, CLIP 1, LINE 1, PROGRAM C1094Q00
For information on the syntax of the SCF command, refer to the ADD command in the
WAN Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual.
Starting the ATP6100 Line
You start an ATP6100 line-handler process by starting it in the WAN subsystem.
START DEVICE Command
To start an ATP6100 line-handler process, use the WAN subsystem SCF START
DEVICE command. The START DEVICE command has the following syntax:
device-name
is the device name of the ATP6100 line-handler process.
Example
The following is an example of starting an ATP6100 line device.
START DEVICE $ZZWAN.#ATPP1
For information on the syntax of this SCF command, see the START command in the
WAN Subsystem Configuration and Management Manual.
Note. By default, the profiles contain the value C7948P00 (for SWAN). To add an ATP
line on a SWAN 2 concentrator, specify C7948Q00 explicitly.
START DEVICE $ZZWAN.#device-name
