Printer Profiles and Default
Modifiers
This section gives an overview of ATP6100 printer profiles, lists the contents of each
profile, and describes the default modifiers contained in each profile.
Printer Profiles
Printer profiles contain modifiers and default modifier values for different ATP6100 line-
handler processes. You create a profile from an object file provided by HP or from a
previously created profile. This subsection lists the printer object files provided by HP
for ATP6100 and the contents of each HP-provided profile.
Table 4-1 defines the printer object files that are provided by HP for ATP6100. These
object files are installed in $SYSTEM.SYSnn.
For more information about creating profiles, refer to the WAN Subsystem
Configuration and Management Manual.
Note. You cannot list object files or read their contents. Profiles are also object files, not edit
files. Therefore, you cannot list profiles or read the contents of a profile. HP recommends that
you create profiles by using a command (OBEY) file or otherwise keep a written note of the
contents and locations of the profiles you create.
Note. Use only the profile which supports the device you are installing.
