Printer Modifiers
DEFLF n
This modifier defines the ASCII character to be used as the line-feed (LF) character.
DELAYTIME n
This modifier specifies the delay used to allow printers with one of the flow-control
modifiers TPAUSE, REVTPAUSE, or ETXFLOW to reach the printer low-water mark,
which is the number of characters in the printer buffer that causes the Data Terminal
Ready (DTR) signal to become active (that is, send ACK characters back to ATP6100
to indicate that the printer can accept data again). NOT READY errors may indicate
that the value specified for DELAYTIME is too small.
For TPAUSE or REVTPAUSE, DELAYTIME n designates the interval the system waits
for write completion before it returns a NOT READY error to the application program.
For ETXFLOW, DELAYTIME n designates the interval that the system waits for an
acknowledgment before it returns a NOT READY error to the application program.
DEVPROT
This modifier specifies the protocol for the subdevice and should not be altered.
DEVRSIZE n
This modifier allows you to specify a record size for a specific subdevice connected to
the line interface unit (LIU).
Application: Serial printers
Default: n = 10
