Printer Modifiers
DEVSUBTYPE n
This modifier allows you to specify a subtype for a specific subdevice connected to the
line interface unit (LIU).
The default DEVSUBTYPE specified by each profile is listed below.
DEVTYPE n
This modifier allows you to specify the device type for a specific subdevice connected
to the line interface unit (LIU). All printers must have a DEVTYPE of 5.
EIA
This modifier specifies that the concentrator interface operate as an RS-232C
interface.
ETXFLOW
This modifier enables the ETX(ENQ)/ACK flow-control handshake.
