Printer Modifiers
RECSIZE n
This modifier specifies the record size, in bytes, for the printer. The record size is the
maximum number of characters transferred in a line, after which the line is terminated
(for example, with a CR and an LF). Newer graphics and dot-matrix printers may
require a value greater than the default.
REVTPAUSE
This modifier enables the reverse transmit pause flow-control handshake.
REVTPAUSE provides the same function as TPAUSE, except that it is triggered by the
opposite polarity of pin 12. REVTPAUSE requires RS232/EIA.
The following illustrates the difference between REVTPAUSE and TPAUSE.
RS232
This modifier specifies the concentrator interface as RS-232C.
RS449
This modifier specifies the concentrator interface as RS-449.
Application: SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrator
Units: Characters (bytes)
See also: DEVRSIZE (when configuring subdevices)
