Terminal Modifiers
DUAL212
This modifier specifies that the concentrator use the baud rate (1200 or 300) indicated
by the Bell 212-type modem. When Secondary Receive Line Detect (SRLD) is set
(HIGH) at the concentrator interface (pin 12), the concentrator interface operates at
1200 baud; when SRLD is reset (LOW), it operates at 300 baud.
ECHO
This modifier causes incoming characters to be echoed back to the terminal if it’s in
conversational, full-duplex mode.
ECHOBREAK
Once the BREAK key is pressed at a terminal, it continues to be sent to the system
until disabled. This modifier causes a break to be returned to the terminal to disable a
continuous break condition.
EIA
This modifier specifies that the concentrator interface operate as an RS-232C
interface.
ETB n
This modifier specifies the character to be used as the end-of-transmission-block
character. If you specify this modifier, you must also specify ETX n.
