Terminal Modifiers
ETX n
This modifier (end of text) specifies the number of characters in the checksum
following a line-terminating ETX or ETB character; the checksum is returned to the
application.
ETXCHAR n
This modifier specifies the character to be used as the end-of-text (ETX) character. If
you specify this modifier, you must also specify ETX n.
EVEN
This modifier specifies even parity for data sent from the concentrator to the terminal.
FULL
This modifier specifies that full-duplex (two-way simultaneous) transmission is in effect
between the concentrator and the terminal.
HALF
This modifier specifies that half-duplex (two-way, not simultaneous) transmission is in
effect between the concentrator and the terminal.

Default: None
Units: Bytes
Range: 1 or 2
