Terminal Modifiers
PROFILEID
This modifier keyword specifies the profile version. This is used to avoid
IOPOBJECT and Profile Version mismatch.
PROGRAM file_name
This modifier specifies the name of the line interface unit (LIU) download module for a
terminal.
RC
For terminals, this modifier specifies that a half-duplex, Bell 202-type modem with
reverse channel is connected to an LIU-1. These modems require that Request To
Send (RTS) be dropped when switching from transmit to receive.
RC checks the XFERSIZE value before it transmits data.
RECSIZE n
This modifier specifies the record size, in bytes, for the terminal. The record size is the
maximum number of characters transferred in a line, after which the line is terminated
(for example, with a CR and an LF). Newer graphics and dot-matrix printers may
require a value greater than the default.
Application: All terminals and printers
Default: Depends on IBM
Range: Default value cannot be altered
Application: SWAN concentrator
Default: file_name = C1094P00
OR
Application: SWAN 2 concentrator
Default: file_name = C1094Q00
Note. By default, profiles contain the value C1094P00 (for SWAN). To add an ATP line on a
SWAN 2 concentrator C1094Q00 has to be specified explicitly.
