Terminal Modifiers
STOPBITS n
This modifier specifies the number of stop bits to be inserted following the data and
parity bits.
TESTINT
This modifier specifies the interval for probing the status of the line. A value of zero
means the line is never probed.
TPAUSE
This modifier enables the transmit pause flow-control handshake. Whenever the
Secondary Receive Line Detect (SRLD) signal (pin 12) is reset (LOW) at the
concentrator interface, the concentrator transmits data; when SRLD is set (HIGH), the
concentrator stops transmitting.
TPAUSE provides the same function as REVTPAUSE, except that it is triggered by the
opposite polarity of pin 12. TPAUSE requires RS232/EIA.
The following illustrates the difference between TPAUSE and REVTPAUSE.
TYPE (m,n)
For SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrators, this modifier is mandatory and must be TYPE
(53,0), indicating that the concentrator is managed by the ATP6100 subsystem.
Application: All terminals
Default: n = 1
Range: 1, 2, 15 (15 = 1.5 stop bits)
Default: 1000
Units: .01 seconds
Range: 0 through 32767
Application: All terminals

Application: SWAN/SWAN 2 concentrator
Default: None. m must be 53; n must be 0
