DIP SWITCH SETTINGS FOR 5573 PRINTERS
Automatic Carriage Return Insertion
| AUTOMATIC CARRIAGE RETURN INSERTION

| Dip switch 4 determines whether the printer automatically inserts
| a carriage return (CR) after a line feed (LF) or form feed (FF).
| The possible dip-switch settings are as follows:
|
| auto insert switch 4
|
| no closed
| yes open
|
| There is no corresponding SETMODE operation.
|
|
|
| PARITY SELECTION
|
|
| Dip switch 5 selects whether the printer uses odd parity or even
| parity for the characters. The corresponding SETMODE operation
| is SETMODE 24 (see "SETMODE Operations" in Appendix C for the
| correct parameter setting). The possible dip-switch settings are
| as follows:

| parity switch 5
|
| odd closed
| even open
|
|
|
| CHARACTER-SIZE SELECTION
|
|
| Dip switch 6 selects the character size recognized by the 5573
| printer. The corresponding SETMODE operation is SETMODE 23 (see
| "SETMODE Operations" in Appendix C for the correct parameter
| setting). The possible dip-switch settings are as follows:
