DELETE PVC Command
ADAPTER adapter-name
specifies the name of the ADAPTER to be deleted. The ADAPTER name has the
form $AM1.
SUB { ALL | NONE | ONLY }
selects the subordinate objects the command affects.
ALL
specifies that the named object and the subordinate objects are affected.
NONE
specifies that the name object is affected but that the subordinate objects are
not.
ONLY
specifies that only the subordinate objects are affected.
DEFAULT: None.
Considerations
•
The object must be in the STOPPED state before it can be deleted.
•
Deleting the ADAPTER results in AMP processes being deleted from the system.
Examples
These examples delete the ADAPTER named $AM1 from the ATM subsystem:
-> DELETE ADAPTER $AM1
-> DELETE ADAPTER $AM1, SUB ALL
DELETE PVC Command
The DELETE PVC command deletes a PVC object from the ATM subsystem. The PVC
object must be in a STOPPED state.
This is a sensitive command.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
DELETE [/OUT file-spec/] PVC pvc-name
