INFO ADAPTER Command
AUTORELOAD
specifies whether the ADAPTER software is automatically reloaded when the
subsystem detects the ADAPTER software abended abnormally. An ON value
indicates the ADAPTER software is automatically dumped.
The value is defined by the AUTORELOAD attribute of the ADD ADAPTER and
ALTER ADAPTER commands.
AUTOFIRMUP
specifies whether the ADAPTER firmware is automatically updated with the newer
firmware. An ON value indicates the ADAPTER software is automatically updated if
the version of the firmware in the file specified by the firmware file currently in use
is newer than the version of the firmware currently running on the ADAPTER.
The value is defined by the AUTOFIRMUP attribute of the ADD ADAPTER and
ALTER ADAPTER commands.
PROBECOUNT
specifies the count or the number of consecutive errors on probe attempts to be
detected by AMP before declaring the ADAPTER path to be inaccessible.
The value is defined by the PROBECOUNT attribute of the ADD ADAPTER and
ALTER ADAPTER commands.
MAC Address
specifies the base Media Access Control (MAC) address defined for the
ADAPTER.
Product ID
specifies the product ID for the ADAPTER.
Part Number
specifies the part number for the ADAPTER.
Serial Number
specifies the serial number for the ADAPTER.
Media Type
specifies the media or connection type supported by the ADAPTER.
SYSDESC
specifies the full name and version ID of the system hardware and software,
operating system, and networking components. The string specified must be in the
range 0 through 256. This attribute is for informational purposes only.
