START PVC Command
Examples
These examples start the line named $ATM:
-> START LINE $AM1
-> START LINE $AM1, SUB ALL
START PVC Command
The START PVC command initiates the operation of the PVC object. When the
subsystem has successfully completed processing this command, the PVC object is
placed in the STARTED (or STARTING) summary state.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
PVC pvc-name
specifies the name of the PVC to be started.
Considerations
Starting the PVC results in the permanent virtual circuit accepting bind requests.
Examples
These examples show the START PVC command:
-> START PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC1
-> START PVC $AM1.#IP.PVC*
