TRACE Command
The TRACE command initiates trace mode on the specified object. You can use the
TRACE command as a diagnostic tool.
This is a sensitive command.
An SCF trace produces a trace file that can be displayed using the commands
available in the PTrace program. SCP creates the trace file. For more information on
PTrace, see the
PTrace Reference Manual
.
The TRACE command is supported for the following ATM subsystem objects:

ADAPTER
•
PROCESS
•
SUBSYS

TRACE ADAPTER Command
The TRACE ADAPTER command executes a trace on the specified ADAPTER object.
Command Syntax
OUT file-spec
causes any SCF output generated for this command to be directed to the specified
file.
ADAPTER adapter-name
specifies the adapter on which a trace is to be performed.
