ADD ADAPTER Command
AUTOFIRMUP { ON | OFF }
specifies whether the adapter firmware is automatically updated with the newer
firmware. An ON value indicates the adapter software is automatically updated if
the version of the firmware in the file specified by the FIRMWFILENAME attribute
is newer than the version of the firmware file name or the name of the default file
currently running on the adapter.
Default: ON
AUTORELOAD { ON | OFF }
specifies if the adapter is automatically reloaded following an adapter reset. An ON
value indicates the adapter software is automatically reloaded.
Default: ON.
PROBEINTERVAL 1/100 seconds
specifies the time interval in 1/100th of a second in which the AMP will send a
probe message to the adapter to verify the ServerNet path to the adapter and the
adapter itself is operational.
Default: 3 seconds.
PROBECOUNT digit
specifies the number of consecutive errors to be detected before declaring the path
to the adapter as being inaccessible.
Default: 3.
SYSCONTACT string
specifies the contact person for this managed node. The string specified must be in
the range 0 through 256. This attribute is for informational purposes only.
Default: blanks.
SYSDESC string
specifies the full name and version ID of the system hardware and software,
operating system, and networking components. The string specified must be in the
range 0 through 256. This attribute is for informational purposes only.
Default: blanks.
SYSLOCATION string
specifies the physical location of the device. The string specified must be in the
range 0 through 256. This attribute is for informational purposes only.
Default: blanks.
