ALTER LINE Command
LINE line-name
specifies the name to be assigned to the line. The ATM LINE name is defined by
the adapter name.
ATMADDRESS atm-address
specifies the address for ISONSAP is a 40 hexadecimal digit. The AFI (first two
digits) value must be %h39, %h45, and %h47. The address for E164 is 20 digits.
For example, the format for the ATM address must be:
ATMADDR (isonsap:%h4700dd01272b4a00000000000000000000000100)
Default: Resets the address to all 0s. The ILMI feature will create the address the
next time the LINE is started.
MAXPVCVCI digit
specifies the maximum number of virtual circuits ID (VCI) for PVCs.
Value: 32 through 3072.
Default: 100.
MAXPVCVPI digit
specifies the maximum number of virtual path ID (VPI) for PVCs.
Value: 0 through 256.
Default: 100.
MAXVPCS digit
specifies the maximum number of virtual path (VP) connections.
Value: 0 through 256.
Default: 100.
MAXVCCS digit
specifies the maximum number of virtual channel (VC) connections.
Value: 0 through 3072.
Default: 100.
MAXVPIBITS digit
specifies the address width and the maximum number of VPI bits that can be
active for this interface.
Value: 0 through 8.
